Tour Details

The Kanchenjunga (8586m) stands eastern parts of Nepal, border to India. The 3rd highest peak of world, tutelary spirit, relatively few attempted and a giant icy and rocky mountain are an identification of Mt. Kanchenjunga.

Kanchenjunga area is opened to trekker since 1988 AD. A restricted permit is necessary to trek this region.

Attraction: Typical lifestyle, unique culture (Buddhist, Hindu and animist beliefs), diversity of flora, rhododendron forest, beautiful villages, close interaction with local people, waterfalls, bird’s species and spectacular Yalung glacier, Mirginla and Selele passes and a home land of Limbu ethnic group.

Itinerary

Day 1: On your Arrival, Nepal Fair Step Trek’s represent will well- come to you with Garland/ Khata and transfer to Hotel.

Day 2: City Sightseeing in Kathmandu (Kathmandu Darbarsqure; historical place and visit to living Goddess Kumari, Pasupatinath and Baudhhanath; famous world heritages sites Hindu temple and Buddha Stupa) :( B)

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Bassantpur (1900 m) , (Over night at tea house)

Day 4:Trek Basantapur- Chauki (2700 m). walking time:4-5 hrs,↑1000 m,↓400 m, (Over night at tea house)

Day 5: Trek Chauki-Gupha Pokhari(2300 m). Walking time :3 hrs,↑ 150 m ,↓250 m , (Over night at tea house)

Day 6: Trek Gupha Pokhiri –Dovan(800 m). walking time :6-7 h,↑1300 m,↓120 m, (Over night at tea houes)

Day 7: Trek Dovan- Lali Kharka (2.300 m). Walking time : 5-6 hrs,↑1200 m,↓400 m, (Over night at tea house)

Day 8: Trek Lili-Kharka-Khesewa(2100 m). Walking time : 5-6 hrs,↑ 950 m,↓1050 m, (Over night at tea house)

Day 9: Trek Kesewa-mamaamkhe(2300 m). Walking time: 6-7 hrs, ↑850 m ↓1200 m, (Overnight at tea house)

  • To be able to submit a cost estimate, we need to know the number of persons in your group, the required hotel category, the favored mode of transportation (by flight, by local or private transport) and any alternations to your itinerary.
